Hi. I'm Sarah!

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

What's In My Travel Makeup Bag

This time next week I'll be relaxing in my hometown in North Carolina, maybe even sipping iced tea on the beach. But probably not. As much as I adore the beach and my heart aches for it, when I visit I rarely go to the beach. It's like I need to be near the ocean, like within a twenty minute drive, not necessarily in the ocean.

But while I'm still in Toronto, a city that has yet to find out it's Spring, I'm going to share my travel makeup bag with you.

I'd like to think I'm a light packer, but that's not true. However, I have managed to pair down my makeup "essentials" to just ten products.

Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure

A concealer is a must. I use this every day, as it's a great all around option. It offers light to medium coverage that's great for your blemishes, any irritations, and under the eyes.

Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder in Creme // 100% Pure

Instead of a tinted moisturizer, I've been opting for this light powder. It gives my skin a very natural, matte look that I love. It also takes two seconds to apply. That's always a bonus.

Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills

While not the most green beauty product, it's been a guilty pleasure of mine. I've looked for greener options, but this is just so much better. The thin tip gives me a lot of control, and it allows for effortless but precise brows.

Fruit Pigmented Pretty Naked Palette // 100% Pure

Palettes are great for travel as you get almost a whole look in one slim product. This is lovely for creating a day look that can be built on for a smokey eye at night.

Supernatural Eyeshadow Trio with Ethereal, Lovely, Dreamy // Pacifica Beauty (Not Available Online)

I picked this up at Target in the States and can't seem to find it online.

It's officially Spring and this is the most Springy eyeshadow I have. Which probably means I need to get some more. The colours are light and playful, and they work to create an effortless look that reminds me of the careless and long days of Summer, but with the freshness of Spring.

Blush in Sunset // ZuZu Luxe

This blush is my favourite as soon as the weather warms up. It's a peachy blush with a hint of apricot and shimmer. It isn't too bright, but it's not dark either, so it's perfect for this vacation.

Blush in Mellow Mauve // e.l.f

This isn't the most green beauty product either. I really need to buy more makeup, but when you're a skincare enthusiast, it's difficult to balance the two.

This is my favourite blush. It's absolutely perfect for my skin. I love it in the colder months, but I think it's still great in the warmer months. It's got the right amount of pigmentation for me, as I find a lot of blushes are way too pigmented. Oh, and it's also incredibly cheap, as per usual with e.l.f.

Radiant Shimmer Coconut Multiples // Pacifica Beauty

These sheer colours are perfect for traveling. Infused with hydrating coconut, they can be used on your eyes, lips, or cheeks. I like using the lightest shade as a highlight, while the pink can be used as a blush and the bronze as a light contouring shade.

Fruit Pigmented Lipgloss in Pink Caramel // 100% Pure

As little as I will be doing my makeup on vacation, I need some lip colour options. I feel like lip colours are the best way to transform your look.

This lip gloss is the perfect pink, nude shade. Not only is the colour great, but it's hydrating, it isn't sticky, and it's got the perfect texture.

Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze in Peach // 100% Pure

For a brighter look, I'm bringing along this lip glaze in peach. It's a lovely Spring shade that's bright without looking like a neon pink.

Until next time,
