Urban Alchemist Calendula Healing Balm Review
Well, it's perfect for anyone really.
Who is it Made For?
This balm is made "for babies, mamas, and everyone else" and I don't think I could've said it better myself.
Parents can use it on their children to moisturize their skin, heal scrapes, and soothe their skin. Moms can use it to nourish their bellies. And everyone else can use it as a body cream, hand cream, eye cream, or even face cream. It's up to you!
What Are the Ingredients?
The Calendula Healing Balm* is made with organic ingredients like calendula and chamomile infused olive oil, coconut oil, hemp seed oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax.
The calendula is amazing for healing your skin's issues - cuts, scrapes, acne, wrinkles, the list goes on!
Chamomile is of course very soothing for your skin.
The olive, coconut, and hemp seed oil work together to help repair your skin. Olive oil is one of my favourite skincare oils. It's in a lot of Urban Alchemist products, which is probably one of the reasons why they work so well.
The shea butter and cocoa butter are great for eczema, dermatitis, and rashes.
How Does it Work?
Everything works together to moisturize and heal your skin. I mostly use this as a hand and body cream because coconut oil can be a little heavy for my face skin. But it's perfect for the rest of me.
I love that it's unscented and made with soothing ingredients so I can use it all day, every day, and especially when my skin is irritated. Most creams and balms have fragrance that can further irritate skin, but your skin will be safe and soothed with this balm.
I like to think of this balm as more than a hand or body cream - it's a healing cream that I want to keep around in case of cuts, rashes, or skin irritations that need to be soothed.
This balm has a unique texture that's similar to the Urban Alchemist Earl Green Body Balm - it's a mixture between a gel and a balm, but as soon as it touches your skin it melts right in like an oil. It's a dreamy texture that makes using this balm so enjoyable.
Have you tried this calendula infused balm? What are you waiting for?
