It's that time! Time to share my 2017 skincare favourites! Let's dive right in!

Cocokind Organic Sea Moss Exfoliator

I've tried quite a few exfoliants this year, and this is easily my favourite. It's very gentle, but really effective. It's organic, there's just three ingredients, and I love that a little goes a long way, making it a really accessible product.

Cocokind Organic Chlorophyll Mask

I haven't tried many face masks that I truly loved this year. Except this one. This has a unique texture that's kind of fluffy, and I love applying it. It's very brightening, and it always leaves my skin soft, smooth, and soothed with a noticeable difference in redness.

Cocokind Turmeric Spot Treatment

While I love all of the Cocokind Collective Sticks, the turmeric one is my favourite. I use it multiple times a week on any spots or scars to reduce inflammation and redness, and help speed up my skin's healing time. It's the only spot treatment that's ever worked, and I think that's because it's formulated to soothe and nourish your skin, while most spot treatments try to dry out your spots, which just makes things worse.

Meow Meow Tweet Juniper Clay Facial Soap* (Discontinued - Try This Instead)

I'm so in love with the idea of using facial soaps. I always have been, but I was nervous they would dry out my skin. I'm happy to report that's not the case at all. This facial soap, while discontinued, was amazing for my skin. It cleansed and removed my makeup, all without stripping my skin, and without plastic bottles!

Leaves of Trees Facial Cleansing Oil

Technically, I've used this before 2017. But I rediscovered it and totally fell in love. This cleansing oil is so dreamy - it smells amazing, the application process is luxurious, and it literally leaves my skin bright and glowing after one use.

Wildcraft Regenerating Serum

Oh I cannot say enough good things about this serum. I love serums, they're my favourite skincare products, but I'm really picky. I love that this is an oil based serum that actually acted like a serum instead of a face oil. It sank right into my skin, and the palmarosa and frankincense essential oils were so great for my skin. I honestly can't wait to use it again!

Pure + Simple Skin Drink*

This aptly named moisturizer was included in my green beauty moisturizer round up because it's one of the few face creams that really made a difference in my skin. This is a light cream that has a similar feel to conventional creams, but without the conventional ingredients. I was happily surprised at how well it worked for me, and I love knowing that there's a moisturizer out there that I can always turn to.

Meow Meow Tweet Face + Body Cream*

It's really difficult for me to find a body cream that I truly love. I don't want it to have coconut oil because that can stain my clothes, nor do I want it to be heavy, greasy, or watery. And this one ticks all the boxes. The texture is truly luxurious - it's light and instantly melts into your skin. It sinks in quickly, and leaves your skin not only moisturized, but really soothed. This is the only cream that works on irritated, itchy skin, and I love that I can use this on my face too, as it's not too heavy, nor does it clog my pores.

Badger Balm Unscented Sunscreen

I love the Badger Balm sunscreens. They're organic, made with simple ingredients, and they really protect my skin. I love this one because it's easy to apply, and while there's a bit of a white cast, it goes away once it's sunk into the skin. You only need a little bit, which makes this a really affordable option, and you can use it all over, so there's no need to buy different kinds of sunscreen for your face and body.

Cocokind Makeup - Primer Drops + Facial Powder

While not technically skincare, these makeup products are skincare as makeup. The ingredients are super clean, and organic, and instead of clogging your pores or irritating your skin like conventional makeup, they are actually beneficial for your skin. I use these almost everyday, and I love that I have simple, sustainable makeup options that are good for my skin!
