Odacite Green Ceremony Cleanser Review
Odacite Green Ceremony Cleanser Review

I find the ingredients list to be interesting, because you wouldn't think skin would love ingredients like baby foam, baking soda, and citric acid, but my skin adores this cleanser.

I do love that they use spirulina and aloe vera powders, as both are full of skincare goodness and are really soothing!

Texture - At first this cleanser has a dry powdered texture that becomes a light, bubbly foam when mixed with water. It's incredibly fine, so while the packaging recommends only using three times a week, I've been using it every night with no irritation, and I have super sensitive skin!

Scent - This cleanser has the dreamy matcha scent I love - it actually smells so good I started drinking matcha! But I don't think it's overpowering, and once the cleanser is washed off the scent doesn't linger.

Efficacy - This cleanser works so darn well. I was worried it wouldn't remove makeup, or it would be too abrasive, but neither was true. This is a very gentle, exfoliating cleanser that does remove makeup, it does properly cleanse the skin, and it doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped or dry. Instead, my skin is left soft, bright, clear, and luminous!

Sustainability - Okay so this is where I'd love to see some changes! Odacite products usually have a higher price point (if I hadn't won this in a giveaway I probably would not have purchased it because of the price), so I'd love to see more organic ingredients being used, and I'd really love to see fair trade matcha! I do want to give them props for the packaging though - aside from the small plastic scoop, the glass jar and paper box are all plastic free!

If you need a new cleanser, look no further! Cleanse your skin with a super fun, effective, and natural powder to foam product that will leave your skin soft, bright, clear, and glowy!
