My skin always gets a little difficult when the seasons change. The weather's all over the place, with snow one day, rain the next, and a hot, sunny day after that.
So I find it really important to stay hydrated, eat my veggies, and have a consistent skincare routine. I like to switch things up a bit and focus on nourishing oils and lighter moisturizers.
Apricot Probiotic Cleansing Milk // Andalou Naturals
This is a great cleanser for the mornings. It's very gentle, and it's got a light, creamy texture. It's not wonderful at removing make-up, which is why I reserve it for the mornings when I just want to clean and prep my skin for the rest of my routine.
It's also got wonderful ingredients like apricot oil which helps remove impurities, probiotics to help deal with inflammation, along with mango butter, vitamin e, and other nutrients.
Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist // Herbivore Botanicals
This is a simple toner that's really refreshing and invigorating. It's got hydrating coconut and rose water to naturally soften your skin.
I've noticed my skin is sensitive to rose, but this doesn't irritate it at all, which is interesting. Herbivore is known for their svery high quality, luxury skincare products and this is no different.
Sensitive Skin Booster Serum (Camelina + Chamomile) // Odacite
I've got to be honest, I was super pumped for this serum. But I'm kind of disappointed. I just haven't noticed a difference in my skin. It's normally extra sensitive this time of year, but I haven't noticed any decrease since I started using this.
I do love the earthy, herbal scent and the small packaging. Have you tried any of their other serums? Any thoughts?
Frankincense Argan Oil // Leaves of Trees
I used to adore the Acure Organics argan oils, but I've recently switched to this and I love it so much more. The price is a little higher but it's so worth it.
The argan oil itself is just really high quality stuff that's very nourishing. It's managed to hydrate my skin, heal blemishes, and fade scars. The frankincense is also really good for anti ageing and it smells herbal and earthy. I plan on trying their other oils soon.
Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration SPF 20 // 100% Pure (Not Available Online)
This is pretty new to me, but so far I really like it. It's got a light, thin texture that isn't amazing, as I prefer a thick, creamy texture. But I love the sun protection and the dose of antioxidants. It's also got a good amount of hydration so my dry skin is happy and smooth.
Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream // 100% Pure
This is my all time, essential, favourite eye cream. It's smooth and easy to apply, it's really moisturizing, and it smells delicious. It's also great morning, night, and under makeup so I'm all smiles.
Until next time,
