The weather is warming up and the sun is shining, so I've been looking for ways to lighten and brighten my makeup. I've put together a natural, fresh look for Spring that I know I'll be recreating over and over again.
Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure
This is a lovely everyday concealer that's great for covering blemishes and under eye circles. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my skin or clog my pores!
Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder in Creme // 100% Pure
This lightweight powder is perfect for Spring. It offers a very light coverage with a natural, matte finish. Just like the concealer, 100% Pure has created a powder that isn't irritating, nor does it clog my pores.
Hydration Mist // Mineral Fusion
Spring in Toronto involves a few chilly days, so I'm still using my hydration mist. It's a great way to seal in my foundation and to hydrate my skin to prevent patchy makeup.
Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills
I've talked about this in almost every FOTD. It's a reaally great brow pencil because of the thin tip that allows for neat, precise, clean brows.
Eyeshadow Trio // Pacifica Beauty (Not Available Online)
I love eyeshadow trios, as you get three different shades that work well alone or all together. This one is perfect for Spring as it's a neutral palette with a muted pink. I used all three in this look.
Blush in Sunset // ZuZu Luxe
I love bringing this blush out as soon as the weather warms up. It's a warmer blush with tones of peach and apricot. It's also got a bit of a shimmer, but that doesn't translate well when it's applied.
Fruit Pigmented Luminizer // 100% Pure
For a bright, glowy look, I always reach for this fruit pigmented highlighter. I lightly sweep this down my nose and on the tops of my cheeks.
Lipstick in Molten // Mineral Fusion
I love the matte look of the Mineral Fusion lipsticks and this one is perfect for this look. The light, pink shade is great for Spring and it helps to create that subtle, natural look I always want.
What do you think about this FOTD? What are your favourite spring makeup items?
