I was actually nervous at first because bronzier colours don't always go well with my skin tone. But I really love the unique look of this shimmery shade. It works well as a creamy blush and as a hydrating lip balm.
To conceal blemishes and redness I started with the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme. This is a great all purpose concealer that I've been using for years. I followed with the Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation in Beige 1. This is a very light, matte powder that's perfect for a natural look. It is buildable, but you'll need to be careful as it can become cakey.
To fill in my brows I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe. It's an easy to use pen with the perfect shade for my brows.
I wanted a neutral, but glowy eye shadow look that would highlight my eyes but allow the focus of the look to be on the lips and cheeks. I went for the Mineral Fusion Eyeshadow Trio in Espresso Gold. Mineral Fusion makes my favourite eyeshadows. They're perfectly pigmented, long lasting, and gorgeous colours.
To finish off the eye look I used the Lily Lolo Natural Vegan Mascara*. This is a great mascara for creating really dark, long lashes. Every time I use this mascara I get so many compliments about my eyes!
For the cheeks, I first used the da lish Lip/Cheek Balm* in Bronzer. I applied quite a bit onto the apples of my cheeks and blended it in with the Real Techniques Blush Brush. You can also do this with your fingers. I then highlighted and did a light contouring with the Pacifica Radiant Shimmer Coconut Multiples palette.
As for my lips, I again used the Lip/Cheek Balm* in Bronzer. I really like this easy to apply tube that also makes it easy to throw in my purse for on the go touch ups.
What do you think of this bronze look?
