Skincare is my favourite part of beauty. If it's yours too, then you're probably already good to go in the skincare department. But if you're not that into skincare, then don't worry, I'm here to help.
My skin is very sensitive and dry, especially around this time of year. I like to look for products with soothing and hydrating ingredients to keep my skin happy. If you have a different skin type, then don't worry, you can still follow this skincare routine, but with products that work for you. All of these brands have wonderful products and offer skincare items for different skin types, so I highly recommend looking through their product ranges.
Let's get going!
P.S Check out my morning routine here.
Organic Flax Seed Cleansing Oil // 100% Pure
This is a simple cleansing oil that's wonderful for removing makeup effortlessly. I massage four pumps of oil into my face for a good two minutes before rinsing with warm water. Flax seed is really anti-inflammatory and the Vitamin E is hydrating and repairing.
Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist // Herbivore Botanicals
I've only been using this for a few weeks but so far I love it. The coconut water hydrates your skin while the witch hazel works to combat inflammation. The rose is hydrating and soothing, and the combination of all three makes this perfect for this time of year.
Fruit Stem Cell Revitalize Serum // Andalou Naturals
I adore this serum! It's got a very light, smooth texture that instantly hydrates your skin. Inside are lots of plant based goodness. Fruit stem cells, a berry complex, hyaluronic acid, and lots of nourishing plant oils that all work to deeply nourish your skin.
Tamanu Nut Oil // Alpha Health
Tamanu oil is my go to oil for dealing with problematic skin. It's amazing for handling acne, scars, dehydration, ect. Just a few drops a night and my skin has never looked better.
Intensive Nourish Moisture Balm // 100% Pure (Discontinued)
This is my favourite beauty product ever. Last Winter my skin was so incredibly dry, irritated, and red, until I discovered this beauty. There's avocado, Shea, and almond butters, lavender, green tea, and vitamin C that all work to hydrate and nourish your skin.
Organic Coffee Bean Caffiene Eye Cream // 100% Pure
This is a fantastic eye cream that's super hydrating, gentle, and easy to apply. It doesn't do much for dark circles but it's great for hydrating this sensitive area.
I hope you were able to get some product ideas or some insight into the vast world of skincare. If you have any skincare questions, let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
