Empties #31: Bodycare
Let's dive right in to these body care empties!
Nail Strengthening Base Coat / Mineral Fusion
I loved using a base coat to ensure my polish lasted through the week. I didn't end up repurchasing this one as I went for a Butter London one instead, but I think this is a great option, especially if you're looking for something affordable.
The only reason I went with the Butter London one is because I'm curious how the two compare.
Citrus Lip Balm / S.W. Basics
I loved the S.W. Basics lip balms. They're organic, made with simple ingredients, and they work really well. But now that Meow Meow Tweet has lip balms in compostable packaging (and a bigger size!) I won't be repurchasing these.
Calendula Healing Balm* / Urban Alchemist
I loved this balm! This calendula infused balm as a unique texture that's similar to the UA Earl Green Body Balm. It's like a gel but it's still a balm. And it's truly nourishing. I'll be repurchasing for sure!
Lavender Body Butter / Urban Alchemist
The UA body butters are heavenly and this one is no exception. They're light but nourishing, and they leave your skin so soft and smooth. My skin gets really irritated without moisture, but some body butters irritate it too. This one never has, instead my skin is left soft and soothed. I'll be repurchasing!
Uscented Argan Hand and Body Lotion Sample / Leaves of Trees
This lotion reminded me of a more conventional hand cream in it's texture and feel, but of course it's made with clean ingredients. You know how a lot of natural hand creams can be too heavy and leave your hands feeling greasy? This didn't at all. It left my hands soft and soothed, but not greasy. If I used a lot of hand cream, this would definitely become a go-to.
Blue Moon Dust / Moon Body Soul
I partnered with Moon Body Soul for their newest launch by becoming a brand ambassador. I took lots of photos for their Instagram and honestly it was so much fun. But I also loved using the products.
These bath salts are made with organic dried flowers, epsom salts, coconut oil, spirulina, and essential oils. This takes a simple epsom salt bath to another level. My skin was left super soft and smooth, and the entire room smelled amazing.
Blue Moon Ball / Moon Body Soul
While I loved the bath salts, this bath bomb was my favourite. Really fizzy and lots of fun to use, this bath bomb is made with natural, clean ingredients. No fake fragrance here! I'm also really hoping to try their High Moon Ball soon.
Rosehip Oil* / Skin Essence
As I've been going without a face oil for the Summer, I decided to use this as a body oil. It worked really well. Rosehip oil is light, it sinks in quickly, and it's effective. It worked well for my sensitive skin and if I wanted another simple body oil, I'd totally go for this one.
