Empties #28: Pai Skincare, Sattva Pure, + More

I'm always so excited to write and share these posts with you because they're so much fun to put together and I always love reading other's empties posts. I think they're also really great for both you and me to figure out if a product is really worth it. Let's get started!

A Path of Light Lavender Hand Cream / Andalou Naturals

These are the one hand creams that I've tried and absolutely loved. They're really effective at nourishing your hands without leaving behind that heavy, greasy feeling.

Dry Shampoo / Acure Organics

This has been my go to dry shampoo for over four years and I'm sad that it's the last one. While the product is still great, I'm going to be experimenting with zero waste alternatives to reduce the plastic packaging in my beauty routine.

But that being said, if you're in need of a dry shampoo that absorbs excess oil, lifts and volumizes your hair, and adds lots of texture, this is the one for you. It also doesn't leave lots of build up, as long as you're properly washing your hair at least once a week. Now there's an option for darker hair colours as well.

Sea Salt & Sugar Lavender Body Scrub* / Sattva Pure (Discontinued)

While I love making my own scrubs, this has got to be one of my store bought favourites. It's a very fine scrub that's effective but still very gentle and non abrasive.

It's also really hydrating, so you don't need to follow up with a body moisturizer. The lavender scent is fresh and calming, but this scrub comes in all kinds of scents, including another favourite of mine, Lime.

Sweet Orange + Spice Scrub* / Urban Alchemist

The perfect scrub for the holidays, this natural take on a citrusy, spicy holiday scent is amazing.

It's going to really exfoliate your skin, which is great during the Winter, and it's going to nourish your skin with hydrating oils like sunflower and coconut. And the scent will leave you smelling like a holiday sugar cookie!

Pair it with the Sweet Orange + Ylang Ylang Body Butter for a nourishing combination.

Nourish & Protect Cream Cleanser* / Sattva Pure (Discontinued)

This creamy cleanser has become one of my favourites. With a light, pineapple scent, and it's soothing, creamy texture, it's perfect for my skin. The exfoliating properties work to renew my skin daily and prevent build up that clogs my pores. The moisturizing ingredients leave my skin soft and smooth instead of feeling stripped or dry. I've already repurchased.

Hydration Serum* / Pure + Simple

I was really pleasantly surprised by how well this serum worked. Not only did it hydrate my skin throughout Winter, but my skin never felt dry or dehydrated at all, ever. Which is really rare. My skin was also soothed and it didn't seem as irritated as it normally is. I'll be keeping this serum in mind for next Winter.

Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil / Pai Skincare

This is one of those cult green beauty products that everyone's tried and reviewed. I'm a little behind the trend, but I've finally gotten around to using this oil and I was really happy with the results. It left my skin soft, smooth, and moisturized, and it didn't irritate my skin at all.

Blue Tansy AHA + BHA Resurfacing Clarity Mask / Herbivore Botanicals

I'll be honest, I was a bit disappointed in this mask. I used to love all of the HB masks but the newer ones just aren't working for me.

While this one left my skin soft, bright, and glowing, it was a pain to remove. The gel consistency of the mask left a gooey film on my skin that was tough to remove, leading to a bit of irritation after use. To avoid this, I would mix it with a clay mask so the clay would aid in the removal process, but the fact that I had to mix masks to use it bothered me.

I won't repurchase this one. If you'd like to try one of the HB masks, I do recommend the Blue Clay Spot Treatment Mask, either as a spot treatment or weekly all over mask for problem skin.

Have you tried any of these empties?

With love,
