I hope you're all doing well! Today I want to have a little chat about empties.

I've been doing these posts for a while and I always tell you whether or not I will repurchase the product.

As I'm getting more into a zero waste lifestyle, the products I'm going to repurchase will change.

I'm trying to simplify my lifestyle and that includes my beauty routine. While a product may be amazing, I may not repurchase because of the packaging, or how far the product must travel to get to me. It doesn't mean the product isn't amazing. It's just a reflection of my lifestyle changes.

With that said, let's dive in!

Fragrance Free Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes // Acure Organics (Discontinued)

I'm actually very disappointed in these towelettes. I've tried them before and they were great. But this pack had a weird scent to them that I didn't like. They also seemed to be a bit dry and weren't very effective. I won't be repurchasing.

Weekend Reset Kit* // FitGlow Beauty

While this was the most gentle facial scrub I've ever used, my skin doesn't really need a scrub. But I really loved the mask so I'd repurchase if they were sold separately.

Brightening Serum // 100% Pure

Unfortunately this didn't do anything for my skin and won't repurchase.

Fortifying Face Balm* // Ursa Major

I really liked the entire Ursa Major Skincare line. It's very fresh and unique. This face balm is very light and I'll repurchase next Spring/Summer when I want to lighten things up again.

Coffonut Body Scrub* // ATP Coffee (Discontinued)

I loved the Coffonut Scrub so much I wrote a full review. It's gentle, hydrating, and it smells delicious.

Citrus Verbena Uplifting Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals (Discontinued)

I've been using the Andalou lotions for a long time because they're light yet hydrating, they smell amazing, and they don't leave my skin greasy. I'll continue to repurchase.

Rest & Repair Body Lotion* // Healing Haus

I loved this body lotion. It's made with nourishing, organic ingredients that hydrated my skin without leaving it feeling greasy. The lavender and calendula were calming and created a relaxing, herbal scent. I'll be repurchasing.

Dry Shampoo // Acure Organics

Acure has created the only dry shampoo that's actually worked for me. Not only does it absorb excess oil but it adds lots of volume and texture, making it an all in one styling product.

While there are zero waste dry shampoo alternatives that I'm looking into, I'll continue repurchasing this.

Organic Mint Lip Balm // 100% Pure

I loved this lip balm. The mint was refreshing and uplifting, and the organic ingredients were nourishing. However, 100% Pure uses a lot of unnecessary packaging in their products, so I won't be repurchasing.

What products have you emptied recently?

Until next time,

Sarah
