Empties #17: 100% Pure, Andalou, Leaves of Trees, + More

Konjac Sponge // Beauty by Earth

This was my first konjac sponge and I think it was a really great introduction. It's a simple, original sponge without extra additives. It's great for all skin types, including my sensitive skin.

What I loved most was how gentle it was. It's an easy way to exfoliate and pamper my skin without lots of products, ingredients, or complex routines. Another thing I really love is that it's biodegradable, making it an eco friendly alternative to peels and scrubs!

I will of course repurchase, but I'm also looking at other unique sponges with green tea, charcoal, and other extras. What are your favourites?

1000 Roses Rosewater Mask // Andalou Naturals

I love Andalou's masks. They're creamy, thick masks that are super gentle and effective. This one was lovely for calming my irritated skin. Andalou's Skin Soothing Complex is really gentle and effective, so you'll be left with soft and soothed skin.

I'd repurchase, but I'm also working through my major mask stash so it may be a while.

Organic Flax Seed Cleansing Oil // 100% Pure

I loved this cleansing oil! I love that it's organic, so it's keeping pesticides and other nasties away from my sensitive skin.

I also love all of the benefits from flax seed oil. It works as an anti-inflammatory so it's fantastic for soothing irritated skin. And this is a cleansing oil, so it easily and effortlessly removes all of your makeup, leaving you with clean, but not stripped, skin. I'd repurchase in a heart beat.

Frankincense Argan Oil // Leaves of Trees

My skin loves argan oil, and this was no exception. Leaves of Trees has combined their unique argan oil with frankincense oil, an anti aging oil that my skin adored. It also has a super lovely, earthy scent.

This was hydrating, healing, and my skin has never looked better. I'd repurchase, but I'm interested in trying their other argan oils. Have you tried any?

Intensive Nourish Moisture Balm // 100% Pure (Discontinued)

I love this balm. The shea, avocado, and cocoa butters work together to seriously hydrate my skin all winter long. It's also very soothing and doesn't clog my pores!

I'd repurchase, but I've currently got my eyes on some other balms I'd love to try. If those don't work, I'll go right back to this!

Green Tea Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30 // 100% Pure (Discontinued)

I was not a fan of this. And it's kind of my fault because this isn't for my skin type. But they were out of my usual SPF and I needed something, so this seemed like it'd do. But it's got a very runny, light texture that was really messy. It also didn't sink in to well. I won't be repurchasing.

Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub // Giovanni Cosmetics

Words cannot express how much I love this. This scrub is so comforting, the smell is just heavenly. It's more of an intense scrub, but that's great for the Winter months.

It smells just like hot chocolate and I plan on getting another one as soon as Winter comes.

Lavender Thyme Refreshing Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals

I love this body lotion. All of their lotions are incredibly hydrating and perfect for even my dry skin. They offer a variety of scents, but this is one of my favourite. I wouldn't say it's refreshing, more soothing and calming. The thyme is a lovely touch, and the lavender is great right before bed. I'll be repurchasing as usual!

Have you tried any of these before?

Until next time,

Sarah
