Hi. I'm Sarah!

Welcome to Simple and Sustainable, the blog for all things green beauty!

Empties #14: Juice Beauty, Pacifica, + More

I hope you're ready for some empties reviews, because that's what we're chatting about today. I'm talking about some body products and skincare bits. Let's get started!

Lavender Thyme Refreshing Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals

We all know how much I adore these body lotions. They're light but incredibly moisturizing. They smell amazing. They're affordable. And the natural ingredients make them the best alternative to conventional lotions. I have repurchased these for a year now, with this scent being one of my favourites.

Soothing Serum // Juice Beauty

I was a bit disappointed in this. I just didn't see much of a difference in my skin. I also found this didn't sink in very well like a serum is supposed to. I won't be repurchasing.

Skin Serum #2 City Girl // Kensington Apothecary

I was disappointed with this serum too. The "city girl" title and kombucha ingredient had me all heart eyes at first, but I didn't see any difference in my skin. I won't be repurchasing and I'm not sure if I'll check out any more of the brand's products.

Soothing Aloe Vera Deodorant Stick // Jason

This is my favourite deodorant hands down. It's light and refreshing, with a subtle scent that isn't overpowering. It's a very gentle, natural alternative to conventional deodorants, making it one of my everyday essentials. I've already repurchased.

A Path of Light Clementine Hand Cream // Andalou Naturals

Just like their body lotions are my favourite, so are these hand creams. They're moisturizing and soothing for even the driest of hands. They're affordable. And the three scents are all divine.

Rosehip Oil Moisturizing Serum // Cocoon Apothecary

I have some mixed feelings about this, as you would've seen in my recent skincare post. This rosehip oil works really well to hydrate, soothe, and repair your skin. But it just can't hold up to super cold temperatures. I'd definitely repurchase this once the weather warms up.

Persian Rose Natural Soap // Pacifica Beauty

I love Pacifica for their natural perfumes. They've managed to create a long line of unique scents without animal testing or chemicals. I've tried a few of their soaps now, and while I love their scents, I'm not super in love with their soaps. They just don't lather really well, even compared to other natural soaps. They're also not really hydrating or anything. I won't be repurchasing.

Have you tried any of these empties?

Until next time,

Sarah
