For most beauty lovers, a red lipstick is an essential. But most of the time red lipstick is worn with a lot of make up and it just looks like too much for me. I prefer natural, easy make up. Today I want to share a more natural way to wear a red lip - with a light base, natural but filled in brows, and light eye shadow.

Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer in Creme // 100% Pure

I've talked about this in practically every FOTD I've done. It's a wonderful multipurpose produce that offers medium coverage, hydration, and sun protection. It applies really easily and is very long lasting and is great for a natural look that doesn't feel too heavy.

Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure

Just like the tinted moisturizer, I've talked about this in practically every FOTD. It's just so good I don't need another concealer. It covers redness and problem spots, hides my under eye circles and is long lasting. I love the subtle brightening effect this has, especially under the eyes. It also offers sun protection!

Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills

This is wonderful for precise and neat brows. The colour is spot on, the application is easy and this pen actually lasts several months, unlike the Tarte version that lasts a few weeks.

Fruit Pigmented Naked Palette // 100% Pure

I love this palette for subtle looks. Today I used the eye shadows and blush. The shadows are kind of neutral and really subtle, and the blush is super pigmented so you only need a tiny amount to get some colour on your cheeks.

Mascara in Black Tea // 100% Pure

I'm starting to like this mascara more and more as I use it. It's a perfect dark black, the wand is simple and easy to use, and it even smells delicious! This mascara is great for lengthening and darkening your lashes, but it doesn't do much for volume. I am still looking for a voluminous mascara, and I've got my eye on one by Mineral Fusions.

Coconut Multiples // Pacifica Beauty

I love these multiples because they're versatile and great for giving you a glowy look. I often reach for the lightest shade as a highlighter and luminizer on the tops of my cheeks and down my nose. But the middle colour is great for a pinky blush and the darker shade is great for a sheer, subtle contour. They can all be used on your eyes, cheeks, and lips, so you could probably do a whole look with this one palette! Maybe I should try that...

Lipstick in Flashy // Mineral Fusions

The classic red. This is a very bright, bold red that isn't too orangey, pink, or dark. The formulation isn't sticky or drying, but instead it's long lasting and really pigmented.

What do you think? Is this your thing or do you prefer glam looks?
