5 Multitasking Products to Simplify Your Green Beauty Routine

Creating a simple green beauty routine makes your life a lot easier because you're using less, buying less, and you're surrounded by less.

These five multitasking products are just the trick to helping you simplify your green beauty routine.

Dry Shampoo.

Depending on the dry shampoo you use, it can become much more than a dry shampoo, reducing the number of hair products you use and saving you time.

I use the Acure Organics Dry Shampoo because it not only absorbs excess oil but it instantly adds lots of texture and volume to my hair. They've also formulated a new option for darker hair colours

Cleansing Oil.

A proper cleansing oil is going to work wonders for your skin. In just a couple of minutes you're doing the work of a cleanser, serum, face oil, and moisturizer.

My favourite is the Leaves of Trees Facial Cleansing Oil because it's a heavenly oil that quality oils, blue tansy extract, and anti inflammatory turmeric.

Bar Soap.

Bar soap is a universal product that can save you time and products. One bar can be used as a hand soap, body soap, shaving cream, and shampoo.

I recommend a bar suited to both your hair and skin, like the Recharge or Cascadia bars from Woodlot.

If you have dry hair, you can also follow your shampoo with a little bit of coconut oil to prevent dehydration.

Body Scrub.

Skip the harsh scrubs and opt for a gentle, really hydrating scrub. You'll be left with soft and smooth skin that's already hydrated, nixing the need for an extra moisturizer.

I love DIY scrubs made with about 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of coconut oil, plus extras like tea and essential oils.

Body Balm.

Have you ever wondered why you should use a lip balm, hand cream, foot balm, and body butter? I have, and when it comes down to it, you don't need separate products.

I've been loving the Urban Alchemist Earl Green Body Balm* as a night time lip balm and all over body balm.

What are your favourite multi tasking products?

With love,

Sarah
